sOURCING manager

Location: LENOIR, NC

The person in this position is responsible for managing supply by cultivating a comprehensive understanding of commodities, suppliers, and production processes; coordinating supplier selection; actively managing supplier relationships and performance; and developing supplier capabilities. when appropriate. Serves as a primary liaison between Design and Suppliers during Product Development

Requirements

  • BS in Engineering/ Design, Business or related field. MBA or relevant professional certifications desirable.

  • 4+ Years’ Experience in Supply Chain Management or Strategic Sourcing role, preferably in a made-to-order manufacturing environment.

  • Experience with both Domestic and International Sourcing preferred.

  • Experience in Product Development Sourcing preferred.



Upholstery plant manager

Location: hickory, nc area

The person in this position is responsible for managing all aspects of upholstered furniture, providing leadership and directing tasks through hands-on leadership while being able to appropriately delegate responsibilities in support of corporate objectives. This person will report to the VP of Operations

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years as a Plant Manager in an upholstery factory. 

  • Strong knowledge of furniture manufacturing processes including balanced scheduling, BOMs, routings, labor piece rates, product costing…

  • Ability to lead change through support and collaboration of others

  • Experience in critical software applications. Including but not limited to Excel, Lotus Notes, Word, and SAP.

 

inventory controller

Location: lenoir, nc

Our manufacturing client is seeking an Inventory Controller that will report to their Director of Supply Chain. This position is responsible for managing inventory levels that balance having an uninterrupted supply to support sales while minimizing inventory carrying costs.

Qualifications:

  • Inventory control role for a min. of 5 years

  • Working knowledge of and keen interest in Forecasting

  • Syteline or similar ERP system

  • APICS certification is a plus

Process Engineer whose duties will range between Process Improvement, Quality Management, and Safety. Our client, within the Plastic Molding Industry, provides a competitive salary and 8-5 working hours.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the plan design and implementation of robotics or fixed automation to improve manufacturing systems

  • Responsible for ensuring that systems are in place to continually measure and improve productivity while measuring and reducing scrap/waste. Compares current to historic results and reports findings to management for action.

  • Responsible for maintaining the quality management system.

Our client, a Packaging Company in Catawba County, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to add to its staff. This position is Full Time and is a Direct Hire.

Responsibilities Include: 
•Inspect and test machinery to diagnose and correct machine malfunctions
•Plans repair work using diagrams, drawings, blueprints, or schematics
•Records type and cost of maintenance and repair work

Requirements: 

  • A minimum of 4 years as a Maintenance Technician in an Industrial Setting

  • Ability to read schematics, blueprints, etc.

  • Experience Welding and/or fabrication is a plus
